WSSO Trust is a registered Scottish charity. The full cost of providing the WSSO annual calendar of activities is now approximately £300,000 per year. Approximately two thirds of this cost is met by supporting organisations;

• 12 Partner Local Authorities contribute annually toward core costs and for each local authority school pupil taking part
• The University of Strathclyde provides office accommodation at the Glasgow campus & professional services, including HR & Finance
• Witherby Trust provide programme design and print services
• Maxi Haulage provides storage of WSSO Trust equipment
• WSSO Trust receives annual donations from supporting individuals and organisations

Members are therefore asked to pay the remaining 1/3 of the cost of provision as follows;
