As part of the Inverclyde Music Service, she has taken on a number of roles including Head of the Inverclyde Music Centre and Musical Director of the Inverclyde Schools Concert Band and very much enjoys working with young musicians on a daily basis.
“Having worked with the WSSCB since 2002, I was incredibly delighted and honoured when Derek approached me to be Course Director for the Training Band. I passionately believe in the benefits of music education and have had the pleasure to witness so many young people go on to great success in their chosen careers. We were all blown away by the incredible standard of both training ensembles in their 1st performances in the autumn of 2015 and we now can’t wait to see and hear how they grow and develop in the coming seasons.
